Pardubice Aviation Fair, 2019

The 2019 edition of the annual Pardubice Aviation Fair took place on the weekend of June 1st and 2nd. The weather was sunny and clear and the event was the usual well oganised affair I’ve come to expect.

Here’s a taste of what was on hand:

The Czech air force was represented by this Aero L-159 ALCA light strike aircraft among others in the static displays.
First World War aviation was represented by a group of replica aircraft that included this Fokker D VIII.
An Enstrom 480 represents the flight training centre that exists at Pardubice.
This Let C.11 trainer, the Czechoslovak built version of the Yakovlev Yak-11, was recently returned to airworthy status.
This DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver was a welcome sight.
The Red Bull Bo 105 gave an amazing aerobatics display.
This Vultee BT-13 Valiant was an unusual sight in the statics. I don’t recall ever seeing one at the event before.
This Bucker Bu-133 Jungmeister was part of the interwar period display.
Replica Caudron G.III in the WWI aircraft display.
The Czech air force demonstrated search and rescue with this W-3 Sokol.
The Flying Bulls team in formation with a P-51 Mustang.
Nose art on the highly polished Red Bull B-25 Mitchell.
